We seek qualified candidates for the position of Senior Technical Advisor, Quality Management and Sustainability based in Abuja, Nigeria.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Technical Advisor, Quality Management and Sustainability will provide technical leadership in Quality Management and ensuring sustainability for all FHI Projects in Nigeria.  Key Responsibilities include: Provide technical leadership in design, development, planning, implementation, and capacity-building of Quality Management component of all FHI/Nigeria projects; Contribute to overall technical direction and leadership for technical activities at all levels; Lead technical input into resource development activities; Perform other related duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA in public health or related field, and 11-13 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS or family planning with international development programs; Or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and 9 - 11 years relevant experience in  HIV/AIDS or family planning with international development programs; Or PhD, MD or similar degree with 7 - 9 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS or family planning with international development programs.  Overseas field experience required.  In addition, has positive international reputation in HIV/AIDS or family planning (as judged by external letters of reference).  Must have at least 10 professional publications in respected journals or other fora.

-   Experienced in maintaining the highest standards of Facility Exterior
-   Well versed in people management, budget management and financial controls

2.   CHIEF ACCOUNTANT REF:SA02
-   A minimum of HND or BSC in Accounting
-   Membership of ICAN with at least 10 years professional experience in a reputable company
-   Well experienced in implementing group accounting / auditing policies
-   Good knowledge of financial and credit control procedures and accounting software

3.   QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER, PORT HARCOURT REF: QCM03
-   A minimum of HND or BSC in Food Science & Technology, Microbiology, or any of the physical science
-   At least 5 years of cognate experience in a similar position in a food/beverage company
-   Well experienced in quality analysis, evaluation and documentation in line with international standard is required
-   Must be familiar with, and consistently comply with current good manufacturing practices (GMP)
-   Previous experience / working relationship with Regulatory Agencies (NAFDAC, SON, FEPA etc) will be added advantage
-   Competency in collation, analysis and translation of statistical figures in addition to computer skills will be required

4.   TECHNICAL MANAGER REF:TM04

-   A minimum of HND or BSC in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or any other relevant discipline from a reputable institution
-   At least 5 years professional experience in a food processing or production environment
-   Well experienced in equipment maintenance – to be functional at all times
-   Well experienced in inventory management and control
-   Must possess relevant maintenance planning skills
-   Must be well versed in relevant HSE procedures

5.   SALES DEVELOPMENT MANAGER REF: SDM05
-   A minimum of BSC in Social Sciences or any other relevant discipline from a reputable institution
-   Membership of CIM with at least 5 years professional experience in a similar position in a food processing or production environment
-   Well experienced in developing sales strategies and marketing plans their implementation
-   Well experienced in researching, evaluating and pursuing new business opportunities

JOB DESCRIPTION
ACTIVITIES
BUSINESS / CONTRACTUAL

1. Develop a detailed understanding of Project agreements, their linkages and their operational/financial impacts.
2. Monitor operations for issues relating to these contracts and provide strategy / advice to DWE management on the resolution of such issues in coordination with the various stakeholders (Field Operations, Finance, Crude Oil, Commercial and Trading).
3. Coordinate the drafting and negotiation of all commercial agreements with support from Legal/Finance/Trading etc. obtain Partner approvals prior to discussions with the authorities (NNPC/DPR) and negotiate the agreements.
4. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the authorities related to the assets commercial activities, and represent Company accordingly.

COMMERCIAL
5. Develop lifting programs in coordination with Finance, Field Operations and Crude Oil Commercial.
6. Monitor and trouble-shoot day-to-day lifting operations.
7. Provide guidance to Field Operations and Client's Commercial on specific issues related to demur rage claims, vetting and lifting in general. Be the focal point of Partner inquires for such matters.
8. Negotiate with NNPC and DPR for the Trial Marketing period, Realizable Prices, Quota, Technical Allowable etc. with Partners in coordination with Client and Trading.
9. Attend monthly and quarterly meetings with government bodies, agents and partners (curtailment, TMP) as necessary.

INTERNAL MANAGEMENT
10. Develop and maintain annual budget for Client commercial activities – demur rage, legal and trading support etc.
11. Maintain positive relationships with other Client and group entities (e.g. Crude Oil Commercial, Trading, etc). to ensure that DWE is represented in applicable decision making processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATION:
 
Engineering background, Business degree
Professional Experience: 10 years experience. 
Familiar with E&P Project environment
Must have proven exposure to association contract management and related economics/financial aspects.
Good knowledge of crude oil production and understanding of lifting operations.
Be a good negotiator: persuasive, dynamic, articulate, with good public relations skills.
Previous experience with negotiations with state entities and other oil companies a plus.
